The 4th Conference “Comprehensive Health Training”, held on March 4 and 5, 2016, addressed the raspects of completeness in training, care, and professional development.

Organized by the Department of Health, the FCCSM, and the Catalan Society of Family and Community Medicine, they focused on a conception biopsychosocial and comprehensive health.

The training of specialists and the capacity of the new trunk training model to integrate the different dimensions of the person were discussed.

It was also analyzed how training can contribute to a more coherent, coordinated, and integrated care practice.

The conference addressed the difficulties arising from an increasingly complex and poorly cohesive healthcare environment.

Another axis was the personal and professional development necessary to cope with the demands of care practice.

The methodology will combine expert contributions with spaces for reflection and group work based on the participants' experiences.

The training was aimed at mental health and primary care professionals, residents, and teaching coordinators.

Overall, the conference promoted a comprehensive health education oriented toward improving both person-centered care and the well-being and practice of professionals.
