The Other Festival It is an International Festival of Performing Arts, Mental Health and Popular Culture that promotes the link between performing arts and mental health.

Since its inception, the FCCSM has provided support and collaborated in the consolidation of this cultural and social project.

The festival aims to foster well-being, participation, and inclusion of people with and without experiences related to mental health.

Through the performing arts, it also helps to give visibility to the reality of mental health and to combat its stigma.

Its programming includes proposals created by, starring, or linked to people with diverse experiences in mental health.

The festival promotes interaction between professional artists, non-professionals, and amateurs, generating spaces for meeting and participation.

Throughout its editions, prominent national and international artists and companies have participated.

The project is driven by’Sociocultural Association L’Altre Festival, a non-profit organization dedicated to the performing arts related to mental health.

The collaboration of the FCCSM is part of its commitment to a conception of mental health open, community-based, inclusive and non-stigmatizing.

In this sense, L’Altre Festival constitutes a privileged space to connect culture, creativity, social participation and mental health.
