On March 13, 2025, the «Addressing Professionalism» Agora, co-organized by FoCAP, AEN-Catalunya, and FCCSM, was held at the Josefina Castellví Library in Bon Pastor.

The conference reflected on the challenges and tensions currently affecting professional practice in the healthcare, educational, and mental health fields.

The mismatch between the implicit and explicit social contract was addressed, along with the need to reinforce autonomy, flexibility, and teamwork.

The various interventions highlighted the vocational and subjective dimension of professional practice, as well as the importance of preserving its meaning and desire.

Professional malaise was also explored, understanding it as a structural reality that needs to be listened to, shared, and worked on collectively.

The second table presented various experiences of good practices based on interprofessional and community collaboration.

These experiences demonstrated the professionals' ability to generate innovative responses based on the specific needs of individuals and territories.

The value of horizontal relationships, conversation, and the building of bonds was especially highlighted, as opposed to models based exclusively on hierarchy or coordination.

Finally, the Agora raised the challenge of sustaining good practices, respecting the singularity of each context, and building organizations capable of caring for professionals and keeping their commitment to the task alive.
