Nowadays screens (mobiles, consoles, tablets, TV, etc.) are immersed in the daily lives of most people, regardless of age group.

On the one hand, we know that technologies open up a very wide range of possibilities that can help develop our personal skills and foster connection with others. On the other hand, we know that limitless or indiscriminate use can expose people to risks, especially the most vulnerable groups, in this case, children, adolescents, and young people.

From the social and educational fields, educational strategies are being promoted to encourage the rational use of technologies and the inclusion of relational and emotional elements that go beyond them. The clinical field of child and adolescent mental health also has its own challenges. More specifically, in our clinical practice we are encountering situations that require a comprehensive understanding that goes beyond the manifest symptomatology, a progressive perspective that takes into account the patient's circumstances, the family, and the social and cultural framework of reference.
