The Awareness and Training department is responsible for organizing all types of educational and awareness-raising activities to promote the recognition and defense of the human rights of people affected by mental illness. The Foundation aims to create an atmosphere of public opinion favorable to the social acceptance of mental illnesses.

The Catalan Mental Health Congress Foundation periodically organizes the Catalan Mental Health Congress together with the Professional Colleges of Physicians, Psychologists, Nursing, Social Workers, and Educators.
