On June 14th, the CCSM Foundation's assembly renewed its Board of Directors and partially its Board of Trustees with a consensus proposal that we wish to share with all the organizations and institutions that form our relational fabric.
The composition begins with 8 voices long-distance trip to the Foundation:
Lluis Albaigès, David Clusa, Myriam García, Lluís Isern, Montserrat Martínez, Teresa Morandi, Àngels Vives and Jose Fernández.
Continue as treasurer Albert Mariné, and they are incorporated as Secretary Anna Carrió, as Vice president Ada Ruiz and as President Josep Vilajoana.
The intense activity of recent years calls for a certain continuity that this group guarantees, due to its knowledge and experience. But it is also true that small changes are needed in the Board of Trustees to incorporate people with a new perspective who can add enthusiasm to established projects or inspire new ones.
The initial work exchanges have made it possible to glimpse clear lines of growth for the Foundation: incorporating professionals linked to mental health from perspectives beyond just caregiving, for example journalists, urban planners, sociologists, etc.; establishing, in accordance with the statutes, an advisory council that brings together some of the former trustees who do not wish to disaffiliate from the Foundation; maintaining support for professionals in the different care networks and also continuing to contribute constructive elements to the debate on public policies regarding people's health and well-being.
Fortunately, the intellectual and moral worth of the Foundation's Board members, along with the skills of its management and technical secretariat, make the governing team's work encouraging and not at all burdensome.
And it is also a privilege to have the full availability of the governing team that has led the entity to where it is today, especially its president, Àngels Vives, who knows almost all the ins and outs.
Trust in your understanding, in these initial moments, and we hope to soon cross paths in workspaces, while at the same time to continue together in the defense of mental health without barriers or stigma.
Josep Vilajoana
President of the FCCSM
