With this conference and in the perspective of the 9th Catalan Congress on Child and Adolescent Mental Health, to be held in 2027, we want to open a space for debate on situations of maltreatment in childhood and adolescence, at a physical and emotional level, bullying, sexual abuse, and neglect in care. We want to learn about the services that intervene to prevent and treat children, adolescents, and their families, in situations of neglect or trauma/abuse from the earliest stages of life. We want to discuss what actions and care frameworks can contain and, if possible, minimize the impact of these situations and learn about public policies, as they play an essential role in this collective responsibility.
