The statutes of the CCSM Foundation reflect its seminal idea: to establish itself as an instrument for the promotion of Mental Health. In this regard, a fundamental element in our approach to work is interdisciplinarity, the desire to join forces with all institutions, organizations, and associations that, from users, families, professionals, political leaders, and citizens in general, share this same interest.
This Report synthetically shows the activities carried out during this year 2018. For all the activities described here, we have complementary technical documentation in order to expand and deepen the work developed in each of them.
Based on the support achieved, the commitment of our Board of Trustees and the Friends of the Foundation, and the attendance and participation in the events and activities organized, we reaffirm our confidence to continue working and delving into the study and transformation of everything related to mental health.
We reiterate our commitment to the improvement and quality of mental health care, understood in the broadest sense, not exclusively medical. This approach conceptualizes the subject, a complex being that demands true recognition of its biopsychosocial and cultural nature, as the core and guide of its projects and actions.
Thus, for another year, the FCCSM renews its commitment to collaboration to contribute to the review and improvement of health policies and care practices in our country.
