20 years that have contributed to generating knowledge and sharing initiatives, reflection, and debate in mental health. 20 years that have incorporated richness and very valuable contributions to advance in this joint commitment that we all share and defend: a mental health model that is community-oriented, focused on the recovery of individuals and their families, and that incorporates their voice and participation.
From the associative movement, we have always felt very close to and participants in the proposals you have initiated and developed as a Foundation. You have invited and included us in many spaces of reflection and debate, and we have been able to participate in many moments and in various areas, contributing our point of view. We have always found it very interesting and enriching to participate in debates and reflections with diverse professionals, where the knowledge of each has added and contributed a great deal of value. This is one of the principles of the Foundation that we have always valued most and has made us feel very comfortable; we have learned alongside you and have also been able to bring you closer to and transfer our knowledge, which has always been very well received and incorporated.
Over all these years, enormous challenges in mental health have arisen, new approaches that bring us closer to a model that is much more respectful of people and oriented toward generating real opportunities for recovery, forcing us to rethink and transform many practices. We have always found a Foundation that listens, that incorporates all these aspects, that takes them on as its own challenge to generate debate and tools that contribute to this transformation, which is so necessary and which we share and dream of. Many aspects unite us, making us feel very close to each other always.
We especially remember some initiatives that have been very valuable to us, participation in working groups on specific topics and other broader reflection spaces that have helped us greatly to understand ourselves and share visions. The conferences and debate spaces, always on current topics that concern us and that bring new ideas and reflections. We especially like your critical, brave attitude, which addresses complex issues and ethical dilemmas that need to be explored and discussed to make them visible.
We want to convey our immense gratitude, hoping to continue working together for many more years to contribute to the construction of a society that places people at its center and fills daily practices and work with meaning and value.
Congratulations!!!
