FERNANDO VIDAL. Research Professor ICREA (Catalan Institution for Research and Advanced Studies) at the Barcelona Metropolitan Area – Medical Anthropology Research Center (MARC) at Rovira i Virgili University. After a long career in the field of the history of the human sciences, she took a new direction and currently coordinates a research project on the lived experience of illness. Her latest book (with F. Ortega) is ’Are We Our Brains? The Construction of the Cerebral Subject“ (Alianza, 2021).
