The 9th Conference \u201cLa Xarxa a Debat\u201d<\/strong>, titled \u201cMental health and community: what interventions? What models?\u201d<\/em>, will address the role of the community in mental health care.<\/p>\n

Organized by FCCSM and AEN Catalonia<\/strong>, the conference brought together professionals from various care and community resources.<\/p>\n

The debate focused on how to move towards a community models<\/strong>, beyond strictly healthcare.<\/p>\n

The importance of prevention and health promotion was highlighted, involving fields such as education, housing, work, social services, and justice.
\nThe participation of was also claimed users and family members<\/strong> in the organization of care.<\/p>\n

Several community experiences developed in different territories, aimed at adolescents, families, and populations in vulnerable situations, were presented.<\/p>\n

Experiences showed that community work requires involvement, coordination, sustainability, and cultural adaptation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The need to review professional practices and move beyond excessively biomedical or deficit-focused models was raised.<\/p>\n

The importance of training and caring for professionals in the face of the changes implied by this care model was also highlighted.<\/p>\n

Overall, the day vindicated a community, interdisciplinary and participatory mental health<\/strong>, aimed at strengthening the capacities of individuals and the community.<\/p>\n<\/div>
