Israel-Palestine Conflict: The Humanitarian Crisis in Gaza<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

In the face of the grave and unsustainable humanitarian crisis in Gaza, within the context of a long and extremely complex conflict between Israel and Palestine, we, from the Catalan Congress of Mental Health Foundation, an organization in the field of mental health, wish to express our condolences and solidarity with all those affected. Palestinians and Israelis, victims of a colossal mistake such as war.<\/p>\n

The war conflict always finds its reasons on each side. Deep reasons, which return if they have not been heard and taken into consideration. There are reasons for cruelties, damages, tortures, and deaths. And there are also reasons for what was suffered at the hands of the other side, which push for justice or vengeance.
\nIn this context, Clearly and forcefully express our rejection of war and our commitment to peace, human rights, and the well-being of people.<\/strong>. We firmly believe that all people deserve to live in a safe and peaceful environment where they can enjoy all of their fundamental rights.<\/p>\n

Let's denounce the humanitarian crisis suffering the civilian population of Gaza and We advocate for the peaceful resolution of conflict through mediation and negotiation.<\/strong>. All parties involved are urged to adhere to international laws that should protect and guarantee human rights and the dignity of individuals. This is the only path towards a just and lasting solution that can end suffering.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

We need a time and space to consider all the causes of the conflict. Unfortunately, the conditions are not right at this moment to undertake this task. For now, it is necessary to focus on the most immediate needs. We call on both sides for a moment of attention, a pause, a time to open up to other possibilities. It is essential to highlight the devastating impact this conflict has had and will have on people's mental health<\/strong>, especially in boys and girls, children, young people, and their families. Anguish, loss, and trauma profoundly affect life, and that is why we demand an end to the violence. Each death creates a need for reparation. We must address the pain, hopelessness, and despair. Mental health recovery is and will be a key aspect of rebuilding all lives shattered by the conflict.<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

We urge international organizations and nations to take decisive action to end the conflict and protect the rights of the civilian population. It is imperative that the international community act quickly to prevent further loss of life and suffering.
\nStopping the violence, opening a humanitarian corridor, and attending to the needs of the population would be a compassionate act for all humans.<\/p>\n
