CREATIVITY, CULTURE, AND MENTAL HEALTH<\/span><\/strong>

Recognizing the importance and diversity of initiatives and experiences surrounding creativity, art, and mental health, but also their dispersion and in many cases lack of awareness, we propose a conference as a space for meeting and exchange, but also with a prior and post work process based on the following proposal.<\/p>\n

The project we are presenting is merely a starting point to be worked on and agreed upon by the promoting entities and all the entities and collectives invited for the occasion.<\/p>\n

The approach of the Conference is guided by the directives and principles of the World Health Organization (WHO).<\/p>\n

General objective<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

  • Convene different entities and organizations from the various sectors involved to debate and share what we want to happen in Catalonia in the field of art, in relation to mental health.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Specific Objectives<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

    • To learn about initiatives and projects in the field of creativity and mental health<\/li>\n
    • Identify the needs of different artistic groups<\/li>\n
    • Search for communication and dissemination channels for artistic production in the field of mental health.<\/li>\n
    • Promote exchange and cooperation dynamics between the mental health field and various creative fields<\/li>\n
    • Develop innovative proposals<\/li>\n
    • To define new initiatives and future projects collaboratively and with a view to continuity<\/li>\n
    • Create a catalog of experiences<\/li>\n
    • Preparation of a conclusions and recommendations document<\/li>\n
    • Others to define<\/li>\n

      Priorities for planning the Session<\/span><\/strong>
      \nWe propose to orient the objectives and content of the Conference towards:<\/p>\n

      • Aspects related to promoting mental health through art and creativity.<\/li>\n
      • Contributing to dignify and highlight the creative production of artists<\/li>\n
      • Take a step forward in promoting policies and initiatives that favor artistic production and creation in an autonomous and sustainable way.<\/li>\n

            \nThe relationship between art and mental health, art and artistic creation as a promoter of mental health and well-being, the relationship and connection with public mental health network devices and programs, and other related topics.<\/li>\n

            \nArt and community work, experiences of artistic creation and community work, art and social inclusion processes, dynamics of exchange, cooperation, and participation in the territory, others.<\/li>\n
          • Cultural Management <\/strong>
            \nEverything related to resources and support for artistic creation and its visibility: facilities, cultural programs, institutional support, and funding methods. The portfolio of services and circuit creation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
