Its objective is to achieve the well-being and inclusion of people with and without mental health issues through the performing arts, and to raise awareness about the reality of mental health in society.<\/p>\n<p>The festival's programming is based on\u00a0<strong>Artistic proposals<\/strong>\u00a0created, starred in, or related to people with diverse mental health experiences, while seeking\u00a0<strong>interaction<\/strong>\u00a0among professional, non-professional and amateur performances.<\/p>\n<p>Some names that have already been part of Altre Festival are\u00a0<strong>Joan Manuel Serrat, James Rhodes, Toni Mira, Marta Carrasco,\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Los Galindos, Stalker Teatro, Pallapupas, Accademia della Follia, Teatro do Mar, Cabo San Roque<\/strong>\u00a0i\u00a0<strong>Mark Lockyer_ ATC Company<\/strong>, among others.<\/p>\n<p>This project is led by the Socio-Cultural Association l\u2019Altre Festival, a non-profit organization whose main objective is to promote the creation and maintenance of Performing Arts related to the field of Mental Health.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.laltrefestival.cat\/ca\/convocatoria2020\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">More information<\/a><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Festival Internacional d&#8217;Arts Esc\u00e8niques, Salut Mental i Cultura Popular &nbsp; Des dels seu inicis hem donat suport a L\u2019Altre Festival, \u00e9s un\u00a0esdeveniment cultural internacional\u00a0que promou la col\u00b7laboraci\u00f3 entre dos sectors: les Arts Esc\u00e8niques i la Salut Mental.
